ToolboxCraft

Eternal Printing Of The Spotless Kind

Capable of plotting, cutting and engraving.

Turn your 3D printer into a fully fledged crafting machine.

In different materials and from different sources.

The ToolboxCraft.... processes the output generated by your slicer software and combines it with custom procedures to queue multiple prints.

Check out the Makerworld project at https://makerworld.com/en/models/2977005-harvestsoon-toolbox-craft#profileId-3339609

This project is in early development stage, see below some videos showing its potential.

Usage instructions

Download and install the Toolbox in your desired folder (eg. C:\Toolbox\Craft)

Open a new project (or use one of the samples available at Makerworld)Along with the software comes a set of parts to hold different tools.

Detailed usage instructions included with the download file.

Method 1, via slicer

Prepare your content in the slicer by adding STL files. Adjust strength settings (eg. bottom layer pattern and density) to set how the plotting will be done.

Only the first layer will be printed. Ensure layer height is set to a low value for best definition (you may have to tweak other settings too)

C:\Toolbox\Craft\HarvestSoonToolboxCraft.exe verbose preview zMinMax=0.9#4 profile=./BambuA1.cfg mapPath=./myMap.osm

Method 2, via internal editor with file conversion

With this method, the slicer output is ignored and replaced with the Toolbox edit and conversion options. With these, you can turn a PNG image, a DXF cad file or an OSM OpenStreetsMap into a project ready to print. Just add a cube primitive to the plate (it will be ignored for printing) so that the slicer accepts to slice.

Add the following to Global > Other > Post-Processing Scripts:

C:\Toolbox\Craft\HarvestSoonToolboxCraft.exe verbose preview zMinMax=0.9#4 profile=./profiles/BambuA1.cfg osmPath=./samples/camiRec.osm#./samples/camiRec.kml

Detailed usage instructions included with the download file.
